I think admitting things online is easier because you are not doing it face to face and being judge right on the spot. I think we all have our days of feeling out of place.

Re: What odd thing happened to you today?
Maybe less of an odd thing and more of a huge coincidence:
Today I had to present my thesis (in progress). It's about polar bear denning. Today I also received a birthday/xmas card from some family back home, who did not know anything about this essay/thesis thing whatsoever. The card is a picture of 2 polar bears. I think that's a big coincidence. I don't think either of em are cubs though, but still. It's kinda funny
And something else to consider...I was talking to someone about conspiracy theories because of a cartoon at the end of the lecture, which showed some people stranded with their boat in ice and they said 'Don't worry, in a few years they will come up with a way to get rid of this ice'. For some reason we went crazy and hypothesized either the Americans have a laser beam directed at the Arctic in order to melt the ice so they can have access to the oil and gas reserves, or this conspiracy goes back longer and cars and perhaps even engines were created as a very long term project to speed up global warming and de-ice the Arctic Yes....we can go crazy.

Hmm... Nothing is odd/strange to me anymore. In fact, when things are actually 'normal' that is when I feel I should start to worry.
