Thank you guys, sadly i wasnt able to get my permit today cuz i was still a little sick.....but i think i'm cured so i'll be back to my normal life tomorrow.

Good to hear. You go get that permit! I recently took the theoretical exam of my drivers license, and I passed. Meaning I could try the practical part whenever I wanted, but I need some more practice first

Thanks, it was nice. First time since a long long time that I've had a party on my birthday. First time since 2 years I've actually celebrated it on my birthday. Too bad a party with beer generally involves cleaning and then hoping it won't smell too bad the next morning while you're cleaning some more

Hehe, the cleaning wasn't really that bad. The problem is that I don't know how much it smells until I'd go outside for 15 mins or so and then come back, which I haven't done yet

Yeah, I guess I wouldn't have made it, even with an invitation a month in advance. Maybe next year... Hey, I have an idea. Maybe next year we could pick a month a little later in the year (after saving up, of course), and then our little group goes to Vegas and we can celebrate everyone's birthday while we're there. LOL, that could be quite an experience.

Hmm, it could be a nice idea. But maybe wed better when we set a date make it like a year and a half from now so there is definitely plenty of time to save money and schedule things away from that date. Of course it would be best if we could synch it with a Gina fight, but thats gonna be....difficult shall we say?

Thanks. And don't worry. There were only a few people on time this year, apart from the ones I invited to my birthday party, but if you forget then, you gotta be really out of it

Btw, I just realised today it's 'Sinterklaas'. It's a Dutch holiday, from which your Santa originates. Yup, he's Dutch originally. And lived in Spain before moving to the North Pole. And had black helpers instead of elves. We don't celebrate this holiday anymore though...I mean me and my parents. It's very big in Holland, bigger than xmas although that is somewhat on the rise.

Yes, I imagine it may not be a great story to tell kids. It's the truth though. I don't know where the reindeer came from or why Santa moved to the North pole...

You can feel lucky we Dutch are so nice. We gave you New York in exchange for Surinam (which we then 30 years ago gave to the Surinams). We didn't claim stuff much anyway, we 'gave away' Indonesia, never really claimed Spitsbergen although the Dutch discovered it and there are a whole lot of things like these. Aww well...It wouldve been nice to say 'I'm going on vacation within the Netherlands. First I'm going to Nieuw-Amsterdam in America, then through Surinam and Brazil to Antarctica, then on to South Africa and Indonesia and on my way back I think I'll stop by Spitsbergen too, if time permits it'

Anyway....I received my (most likely) last birthday card of the year today. Didn't even say 'Sorry I'm late'. Although it is also an xmas/happy new year card at the same time

Thanks so much guys. I usually don't like my birthday, but yesterday was quite good. I had my party last night, and all the signs of it being a wreck were there, but later on it turned into something wonderful, lol.
