Re: What are you listening to?
I should check that out. I know some of their songs.
I am basically only listening to three things from now til a little while: Roberto Pitre's album (which is latin Jazz and feautures Cote de Pablo), Jennifer Grassman's Serpent Tales & Nightingales (which is all kinds of stuff and is awesome, check jennifergrassman.com for snippets) and some tracks by Celestial Aeon Project while working on my book. Perfect atmospheric music, that works well in Oblivion too.
So now metal stuff at the moment. But I like everything so I'll revert back to it sometime :p

Strangely enough, I've never liked Limp Bizkit, but one of my sisters was watching a music video and the song just stuck. Now I've listened to it a few times, and quite like it, "Boiler".
Re: What are you listening to?
This Bitter Earth On The Nature Of Daylight. It's from the Shutter Island soundtrack. I really enjoy this song and how it was combined with another. It has been very helpful to relax me, especially when I'm writing a paper for school.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy - Calloway Boogie
Been listening to Bon Iver all day cos I was making that wallpaper. Even after a day I didn't get sick of the songs. I don't listen to em nearly enough. But there's so much great music out there...

Re: What are you listening to?
Godsmack's new album The Oracle. Song is War and Peace. So far I'm liking their previous album 'IV' better, since it seemed to flow a bit better, the melodies were better and more pronounced and there was more diversity. They seemed to have taken a step back towards a more 'just starting out liking to make noise' kinda band. And they said this was gonna be a really heavy album, but when looking at the music (forget the lyrics), it's not heavy compared to the other albums. Just more of a mess. But for instance 'Re-Align' sounds much heavier. One of my all-time songs, btw. With an awesome solo. Both albums 'IV' and 'Faceless' were truly awesome, save one or 2 songs. This new album is still good-ish though, at first listen. I'm pretty sure I'll be adding them to the list of artists I still like 5 years later. Technically I liked the 2 songs I had of em 5 years back, but I won't count that. So in 4 years time they'll be added to that list And those 2 albums in particular, although I haven't actually listened much to their earlier albums yet... Don't know yet if I'll add this album too
30STM is one band that is on that list (and less than 10 others). I loved their first album (heard it first in 2004 I think). And their latest album is great too. It's quite different from their first, and their 2nd one is in between. I love the general feel of 'this is war'

Re: What are you listening to?
I have been listening to darker music lately. I am not going to mention the name of the band I am currently listening to, but it is mind blowing and different to anything else I have ever heard. Besides, they are banned in most countries, so you probably would not know them anyway, lol.
Re: What are you listening to?
I may know them. Holland doesn't ban much
I'm listening to Mychael & Jeff Danna - The Blood of Cu Chulainn
It's for the soundtrack of Boondocks Saints (which I still have to watch). I think it's my fav song ever. Unlike most soundtracks, this song actually keeps the great melody throughout the song, rather than for a max of 20 secs. Maybe a longer version of the Warehouse 13 theme could be a rival to this song, but they'd have to do an amazing job there

Be Yoiurself by Audioslave. It's one of my favourite songs. And it's also one of the favourites of one of my fav celebs, but I can't remember which one
The way Tom Morello uses that guitar is awesome

Re: What are you listening to?
Discovered the 'Deftones' this weekend (yes, I am a little behind, lol), and really enjoying their music.
Re: What are you listening to?
You can not be behind in discovering music. Not too long ago I rediscovered Tchaikovsky. Only a century and a half late.
Recently I've been listening a lot to Switchfoot. They've been at it since '96 or so, but I prefer their two latest albums. In music, at least to me, there is a sort of sweet zone in which everything seems to fit perfectly. My favourite artists hit that zone for up to perhaps 30 seconds a song and hit it for half the songs on the albums. For me right now, Switchfoot is in the mi9ddle of that zone from sec 1 of song 1 up to the last second of the last song. At least for their latest album, for the one before that they do that for a couple complete songs and bits of every other song. So I'm liking them right now
