American Gladiators

Listening to people talk, I've realized that most people came to know Gina as "Crush" on this show. Even though she's not a part of it anymore, I've opened this thread for any discussions around this topic.

I still hope I can find all episodes of it someday. I only have a few that I managed to get online somewhere. Youtube has a few too, the nicest one is the 'granny' assault

I guess there are only a few ways you could have heard about Gina:

1. AG. Which indeed seems to be the top way
2. mma. If you were already into mma, you may have come across Gina. If not yet, you really have to considering her next fight.
3. Red Alert 3. If you like games and kept track of this one and its promos or you got this one, and went through the manual and/or looked at the poster, you will have come across her name. You then might have looked her up on the internet
4. A photoshoot or interview or something like that. I think this will play more of a role the more ´famous´ Gina gets


Anyway, back to AMerican Gladiators: is there gonna be another season...without Gina?

I've read that there might be another season, but Gina definitely won't be in that one... I'll still watch it as I enjoy the show, but it just won't be the same.

Yeh, I agree. Although I probably wont watch the next season since I have no idea how to watch it

me too. I havent actually found the time to watch the episodes Ive got entirely. Ive just watched the Gina bits, lol.

I loved the granny crushing episode

LOL, that was a classic one.

I recently discovered that the series I watched with "Crush" was only the first one, and the local station is going to be airing the second season in a few months time. Shows you how behind we are in this country.

They never showed it here, first or second series. So youve got something to look forward to

How come they never showed it there? Maybe you should write in to your local TV station and request it. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I think it was more Gina's choice to be walking around at 155. Gina herself has said that she like being thicker. The May 31st, 2008 fight was to some degree forced upon her. I do agree it did make it harder for her to loose the wight.

Back to topic, I love American Gladiators. I was stoked that they were bringing it back. I started learning about Gina when the press releases were coming out about the new Gladiators. When I first saw her compete I was hooked. There is something about her, as everyone has said. One moment she is sweet and the next a killing machine. One of my all time favorite moments was the "head kick." I put that in quotes because she really didn't kick the chick in the head but was pushing her with her foot. It was great and the end part gets me rolling. "It wasn't a kick, it was a step." Then Gina lightly stepping on the platform. Classic. I also loved the Grandma on the Pyramid. One moment I want to see is when Gina got stuck in the Rocket Ball net.

Yeah i read about that as well.....too bad they cut that out

Al Kapone talked about it in an interview. They have never posted it. From what I know she was playing Power Ball and somehow her foot got caught in the net. With the way that game is, I'm surprised it didn't happen more often.
