paramores good .......but there drummer is a little to repetative for my taste ...but hes good

I am also a BIG fan of soundtracks to movies/tv shows. Hans Zimmer has done some awesome things, the complete soundtrack to Firefly by Greg Edmonson is amazing and the guy who does the soundtrack for the renewed Doctor Who (Murray Gold) is nothing short from a genius to me. Unfortunately its not easy to find great soundtracks, its not like with artists where you can expect a new album coming out. Well, for some movies and shows it holds I guess. Theres also the problem that usually only one or two songs are awesome and the rest is just ok, cos it had to suit the scenes. Thats what makes both Firefly and Doctor Who so great (both soundtracks and series themselves), their soundtracks have just one or two songs on it that arent as amazing, and the rest is. Imo, amazing soundtracks beat everything else, if you pick the songs right you can have chills down your spine for half an hour or more

My top two favorite bands are The Doors and Avenged Sevenfold.
I am more into 70's and 80's rock/alternative, but I do listen to a lot of the newer rock, alternative, pop, rap, etc. I try not to be close minded about the types of music I listen to, I would think that it would be a great loss if I did.

Music is amazing, and it's always good to have an open mind. There's just so many different types out there, and even if you don't like a particular artist/band, somewhere down the line you'll enjoy something of theirs.

avengend sevenfold are cool m shadows the vocalist im not such a big fan. but there drummer is super good ............well u have to be if you practiced for 8 hours a day

I am all over the board as far as my music taste goes. I go for The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Linda Rondstant, Joan Jett, Fleetwood Mac etc. I also was and still are a huge fan of the Spice Girls. I enjoy Evansence, Paramore, Switchfoot, etc.

I have to agree with you there. My music library has every style of music, a lot of different artists/bands... It's great to have diversity.

I think most everyone has a diverse taste in music, some just don't want to admit to it.

I like every type of music as well except country

I like almost everything except 90% of whats on mtv And I dont much like rap, often, unless they use real instruments (non studio sounds), then it can be nice

I hate though that the music these days has to be labeled. Its bad for us and its bad for the artist because you may be labeled alternative and some people will not listen to you for that reason. Its just messed up imo

I couldn't agree with you more Bas. A lot of music can't truly be classified anyway, they're a mixture of certain styles.

Yeh. I find it funny to sometimes see that because the labels are so close together, a band can go from rock to metal to pop with 3 albums that sound very similar

yeah a big chunk of hip hop now in days is ok ,,,but itt all sounds the same and has no meaning to it

I don't much like hiphop usually anyway, let alone the stuff without meaning. Which really is prettymuch everything that is popular now

I recently started listening to Blackmore's Night again, I had listened to just a selection of a few songs before, which I liked. But I really like (almost) all their songs now
