Re: Favourite game
I play racing games without a steering wheel, its fun too. The steering wheel is too expensive for me. I did have one for the previous xbox, played dtm 2 on it a lot. Awesome game and with the steering wheel and cockpit view, an awesome experience. I liked the replays where I could see that I missed cars and walls by only an inch or 2
Re: Favourite game
i still play racing games but it would be way better with a steering wheel cuz most racing games i have have a cockpit view
Re: Favourite game
Yeh, I agree. Although the regular controller does work for a number of games. For Grid for instance, I found that the normal controller worked very well, but I havent tried it with a steering wheel. If I ever get one, Ill be sure to do that
Re: Favourite game
LOL, but in real life you can't crash into other cars without getting in trouble lol, that's what i like about racing games
Re: Favourite game
DEMO DERBY!!!
Im gonna be in a real car monday morning. Although I probably better not race...

Re: Favourite game
Yeh, I know. Ive got my 360 almost 3 years now I think. So thats about 6 games a year not including the 2 that came with it. I often think about the money I couldve saved had I not bought them. On the other hand, I was able to get them because I could save a bit of money every month because my room isnt very expensive, I buy budget foods and I didnt go out much. Basically save enough for almost one game a month
There are a few of those that I didnt think were worth the money as I didnt play them much. I guess theres often the feeling after youre done with a game that maybe it wouldve been wiser not to buy it. On the other hand, if you can afford it and you like it, why not get it? Its depressing to always save money for your future

Re: Favourite game
Best way to buy games anymore is to wait a while after it comes out and buy it used.

Re: Favourite game
I think I've got another one to add to my top 5 or so: Assassin's Creed 2.
I've just finished it. Where AC was good because mostly because of it's gameplay (which has been improved now), I am most impressed by AC2's story. A good story is becoming more and more important in games, but it's still RPG's that take the cake. Although they claim AC2 is semi-rpg....maybe one twentieth. But the story with AC2 is great, very very impressive. Better even than Mass Effect or Oblivion, which would make it the best games story I know. AC1 also had somewhat of a nice story, introducing the Animus and templars and assassins still around today, but AC2 adds like a few dozen layers to it, with conspiracies and what not and near the end it's just an overload of twists and things that make me wish AC3 were already here. Or just the script for it. I wouldn't actually be surprised if they would someday make it into a movie, although the story so far is already most likely better than the movie would ever be.
So...if you haven't played AC2, get it. AC1 is also worth a try, to get into the story, but not necessary.

Re: Favourite game
I got UFC Undisputed for Christmas, so that's now my new favorite game, lol. The only thing that frustrates me about it though, is the ground game - it's way too difficult.
Re: Favourite game
I know, tried it on my friends PS3 and either got subbed or GnP'd ALLLLLLL the time lol, all the time I just felt disappointed that they don't have Nate Quarry in the game.....really wanted to play as him too, and Keith Jardine has a normal stance
oh well lol, I'll get it for myself when it comes out on Wii this year

Re: Favourite game
It's coming out on Wii? That will be awesome! They gonna make it that you have to literally roll around on the floor? Lol!
Re: Favourite game
Lol, I was thinking the exact same thing. Boxing I can understand (although there is yet to be a wii boxing that sees the difference between a hook and an uppercut). But mma is a whole other story. I think they would have to include a warning: 'certain actions required for this video game may cause injury to less flexible individuals'
